INTERVIEW

It is an agreement to "550 billion euros": Thursday evening, the European Ministers of Finance finally managed to agree on a common economic response to the coronavirus, finding common ground with the Netherlands, long inflexible. "The risk was great to see the European Union explode," recalls Bruno Le Maire on Europe 1, Friday morning.

"Excellent agreement"

"It is an excellent agreement, it marks the unity of European states", welcomes the Minister of Economy. "It frees up 550 billion euros for all the EU economies, especially those which need support. These are additional means available to finance the economic recovery."
