09 April 2020 The Eurogroup has reached an agreement on the conclusions document on economic and financial measures to address the serious crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic and is ready to send the ball back to the heads of state and government. This is what is learned from European Union sources.

The agreement reached would concern the Mes, the Bei and the anti-unemployment mechanism. The Recovery Fund is now under discussion. According to what is learned, there is no mention of Eurobond in the text of conclusions.

According to the draft compromise, the MES would be envisaged without references to additional macro-economic conditions. In addition, the draft states that Member States are committed to exploring innovative financing instruments for the Recovery Fund.

"The Eurogroup has found an agreement. A package of unprecedented dimensions to support the health system, layoffs, liquidity for businesses and the Fund for a revival plan. Europe is solidarity". The Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni tweets it.
