According to the Internet Foundation's survey "Swedes and the Internet 2019", 95 percent of the Swedish population stated that they use the Internet.

Many young people are constantly connected and doing things with their friends, but for the older generation, the barrier to putting the laptop or mobile on the kitchen table and connecting with friends has been a little higher. Something that Jannike Tillå, business area and communications manager at the Internet Foundation sees is changing now.

- What we see in the increase now is that you want to see each other. Text is no longer enough. You miss each other when you can't meet. We see that you have grandma or grandmother with you at dinner via video tools.

Digital dining is a solution

"What we are learning now is maybe we can take it with us in the future when we no longer need to be physically distant," says Deeped Niclas Strandh, an expert on social media.

Digital dinners can be a solution for those who usually travel to loved ones at Easter, but are unable to do so this year because of the corona center.
