In addition, the Nazis regularly arrested Soviet citizens during the occupation of the city of Shakhty, including the miners and their families. They were taken to the area of ​​the Krasin mine, shot, and you were thrown into the shaft of the mine.

So, during the occupation of this city, at least 3,500 people were killed.

Information was also obtained from archival sources that in February 1943 the Nazis killed at least 427 civilians and 72 pioneers in the Georgian Village Council of the Morozovsky District of the Rostov Region.

The Investigative Committee will continue to record and investigate the crimes of the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War.

Not a single crime, which is based on the criminal ideas of hatred and racial superiority, will go unnoticed and unpunished, they pointed out there.

“These are crimes without statute of limitations,” the Investigative Committee concluded.

In January, Chairman of the UK Alexander Bastrykin said that the agency will cooperate with Germany to investigate Nazi crimes.

According to him, on January 1, the Second Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters entered into force in Russia, which allows the creation of international investigation groups to investigate criminal cases on general topics.
