He explained that «the center’s role includes collecting the waste resulting from quarantine and sanitary isolation operations at the emirate’s level, transporting them, then safe and sound disposal of them, using the best and most advanced means of advanced technology», and continued that “the technical and inspection center staff oversee these operations until the last stage of them, Around the clock, in direct coordination with the relevant government agencies, to ensure the integrity of the procedures followed, and in accordance with international and local evidence and laws.

Al-Kaabi confirmed taking additional “recycling” precautionary measures, in response to the directives of the official health authorities, and within criteria that included washing and sterilizing containers for collecting general waste, inside and outside, after collecting the waste, to avoid the effects of the new Corona virus, and setting a “business continuity” plan, to ensure the continuity Its services are in the same pace, with the application of precautionary measures, which also include washing and sterilizing vehicles operating periodically, and ensuring the provision of personal protective equipment for field work crews.

Al-Kaabi explained that «the center provides the sites of quarantine and sanitary isolation at the emirate’s level with containers designated for hazardous medical waste, tightly closed, to collect and transport them daily, using special vehicles, to dispose of them in medical waste incinerators in the emirate».

He added, “Vehicles are tracked through the satellites associated with the main control room in the center, where waste is burned in two rooms, at high temperatures, up to 1200 degrees Celsius, according to the regulations of the executive regulations of Federal Law No. 24 of 1999 in the matter of environmental protection and development. . The ash from the burning process is transferred to the engineering landfill for safe disposal.

He said: "The center attaches great importance to the safety of employees and workers in this sector, by providing the highest safety standards, with all the procedures and efficiencies that it includes to control risks, as well as providing personal protective equipment for workers, including gloves, masks, masks and clothing."
