08 April 2020 Rainews.it is the internet portal of Rainews24, the all news channel of Rai born in 1999 and the protagonist of information on TV and on the web for over 20 years.


1) Fact-checking legislation
Rainews.it undertakes daily to ensure correct and truthful information, on all its channels (TV-website-social pages) by operating a strict and careful control through the consultation of different sources such as agencies and press offices, personal contacts of the journalists, news collected from correspondents and correspondents, official government sources and verified social networks.
Our journalists deal with checking the news and evaluating their truthfulness by comparing multiple certified sources. Rainews.it welcomes news reports and citizens' testimonials, checking their reliability before publication.
Rainews.it does not examine websites and web pages which are not reliable or which intentionally share and disseminate false news.

2) Deontological legislation
In ethical matters, Rainews.it relies on the single text of the journalist's duties drawn up by the National Order of Journalists, which incorporates the contents of the following documents:
Charter of duties of the journalist;
Charter of duties of the press office journalist;
Charter of economic information duties; Florence Charter;
Milan Charter;
Perugia Charter;
Rome Charter;
Treviso Charter;
Information and advertising paper;
Information card and surveys;
Code of ethics relating to journalistic activities;
Code regarding the representation of legal proceedings in radio and television broadcasts;
Decalogue of sports journalism.

All the people who work for the newspaper accept its rules. This code of ethics is signed by the top management, by the administration, by employees, by collaborators and by all those who operate in various capacities in the name and on behalf of Rainews.it.

3) Regulations on corrections
Rainews.it undertakes to correct the errors and imperfections contained in the services, always guarantees the right of rectification, as required by law, and intervenes promptly in response to requests for the elimination of content to protect privacy and the right to be forgotten.


4) Information on ownership and financing
Rai Spa's revenues, as exclusive licensee of the Public Radio, Television and Multimedia Service, are made up of fees, advertising revenue and other commercial revenues.
The ownership of Rai Spa is divided as follows: MEF 99.56% and SIAE 0.44%.
