In the clip above, you hear Prosecutor Lisa Forsberg tell you about the case and the state of evidence.

It was shortly after midnight on November 23 last year that a man in his 50s was badly beaten in central Östersund.

According to the prosecutor, a man at the age of 25 must have dealt several blows to the victim's head and then held him while another man, also at the age of 25, repeatedly stabbed the man in the trunk, back, arm and leg.

On Wednesday, the trial ended in the case and Prosecutor Lisa Forsberg then pleaded for ten years in prison for the two suspected offenders.

Both men deny attempted murder

One of the men admits that he killed the victim, but believes it was in self-defense. The other man denies that he has even been on the scene.

In the clip below, you hear attorney Max Ahlgren tell about his client's attitude to the prosecution.
