The “pillars” of the cable car will therefore not be erected as planned at the start of the summer

Toulouse residents will therefore have to wait longer than expected to travel over traffic jams and Pech-David hillsides. "But this is not very serious given the major health issues of the moment," relativizes Francis Grass.
What about the metro?
Regarding the third metro line, the opening of which is officially scheduled for 2025, we say that the confinement will not have an impact since the structural work has not started. "The teams are continuing the study phases in teleworking", underlines the president of Tisséo Engineering. But he also adds that "the operations related to the purchase of land had to be stopped". In addition, at the request of the applying manufacturers, the opening of the “envelopes” on the rolling stock which will equip the line was postponed by two months, from April 14 to mid-June. “There is no mystery. We are losing several months on certain aspects of the project, concedes Francis Grass. Can we catch them? We can't say it today, ”he concludes cautiously.
