The Executive Director of the Watani Emirates Foundation, a member of the Federal National Council, Dharar Balhoul Al Falasi, confirmed to "Emirates Today" that about 80% of the population of the Naif region is subjected to a test of the Corona virus (Covid-19).

He pointed out that "health teams supervise the inspection of the population in the area, and there is significant cooperation from the people of the region."

Al Falasi explained that there are great efforts being made by the Naif Police Center, the Health Authority in Dubai, the Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, and government and private institutions, in facing the emerging crisis of the Corona virus, to help residents in the Naif region to avoid infection, by providing services to them, and providing needs The basic, stressing that the work is proceeding at a good, regular pace.

Al-Falasi added that "the precautionary measures taken by the state in the Naif market area were necessary, dictated by the nature of the region in terms of the density of its residents, and because it represents an important commercial market, in which the buying and selling operations abound, and thus people contact with each other."

He stressed not paying attention to the rumors, pointing out that some people were promoting false news about the presence of injuries, calling for the information to be obtained exclusively from official health sources.

He reassured everyone that “things are going well and that the state is going ahead with its measures to confront (Corona).”

Health teams supervise the tests ... and remarkable cooperation from the population.

“Watani UAE” stressed that the rumors were not believed and the information was drawn from an official source.
