The Ministry of Health and Community Protection has warned against using dietary supplements Majo Black capsules, as they contain a substance that may cause low blood pressure.
The ministry directed a circular to all health facilities and health care practitioners in the private sector, during which it indicated that the food supplement Majo Black capsules, has been proven to contain an unspoken drug substance, Tadalafil, which may cause a sharp drop in blood pressure, which may reach dangerous levels.
The ministry said that the aforementioned product could pose a major risk to patients with heart disease, diabetes, or high levels of fat, especially those taking medicines containing nitrates.
The Ministry demanded that the necessary measures be taken to withdraw the product from the market, prevent its circulation, and import it, knowing that the product is not registered in its drug administration, and stressed the need to communicate with the competent authorities in the event of any side effects after using the product.
