This is stated in a message on the president’s website.
“To restrict from 00:00 Moscow time on April 8, 2020 to April 20, 2020, the entry into the Republic of Abkhazia of all categories of citizens through checkpoints on the Abkhaz-Russian state border,” the text says.
It is clarified that the exception is made for foreign diplomats, military personnel of the border control of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Abkhazia, a combined Russian military base, drivers of vehicles engaged in international freight transport.
Earlier it became known that Abkhazia until April 20 introduces a temporary restriction on the entry of foreign citizens on the border with Russia.
