The three golf grand slams in the United States, the PGA Championship, the US Open and the Augusta Masters, were rescheduled in the second half of this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, announced on Monday North American professional circuit (PGA).

Scheduled for May, the PGA Championship is now slated to take place August 6-9 at Harding Park in San Francisco. The US Open, scheduled for June, will take place from September 17 to 20. The Augusta Masters, which was scheduled to take place this week, has been postponed from November 12 to 15.

The Ryder Cup is held from September 24 to 27 in Kohler, Wisconsin.

The redesign of the calendar operated by the PGA circuit follows the cancellation of the British Open, 4th Major of the season scheduled for mid-July, decided earlier today by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of Saint Andrews (R&A), who organizes the competition.
