“Five new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Altai Territory ... Three of them were identified by contact with previous patients, without clinical manifestations,” the Telegram statement said.
It is noted that two other patients with COVID-19 did not come into contact with the infected.
“Doctors provide patients with the necessary course of treatment, specialists from the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor clarify the range of possible contacts,” the headquarters said.
Earlier, a representative of the Ministry of Health said that in Russia over the past day, 22 patients were discharged from hospitals who recovered from COVID-19 infection.
