British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was transferred to the intensive care unit of the hospital today, Monday, after his condition deteriorated due to his Covid-19 illness ten days ago.
A spokesman for Johnson said, "The prime minister's health condition deteriorated and, according to the directions of his medical team, he was hospitalized in the intensive care unit."
He explained in a statement that "the Prime Minister asked Foreign Minister Dominic Rap to act on his behalf, when necessary."
It is noteworthy that Johnson exaggerated the emerging virus Corona, and said two weeks ago that he was still "shaking hands with everyone."
His handling of the crisis has been criticized for being too late in the decision to impose isolation on his citizens.
