China News Agency, Taipei, April 6th Taiwan's "epidemic epidemic command center" announced on the 6th that 10 new cases of new pneumonia have been diagnosed in Taiwan, of which 9 are imported from abroad and 1 is local. A total of 373 people have been diagnosed in Taiwan.
According to reports from Taiwan ’s media, such as the Central News Agency and China Times, the newly added local case is a boy under 5 years of age, who is the same family member of the previously diagnosed patient. Currently, 175 contacts have been listed in the family group infection.
The 9 new imported cases on the same day were 5 males and 4 females, aged between 20s and 40s, and the active locations before the onset were the United States, the United Kingdom, Iceland and Indonesia. Among them, three cases were all returned to Taiwan from the United States on the same flight on March 30, and a total of 10 people have been diagnosed on the flight. From April 2nd, the whole crew has been listed as a close-up object for home isolation.
A total of 373 people have been diagnosed in Taiwan, with 321 cases imported overseas and 52 cases local. Five of the diagnosed patients died, 57 were released from isolation, and the remainder are still in hospital isolation.
During the Qingming holiday just ended, there were crowds at many attractions in Taiwan. Chen Shizhong, the commander of the Epidemic Epidemic Command Center, proposed on the 6th that people who have traveled to crowded areas during consecutive holidays should independently manage their health for 14 days.
