The Ministry adopted a unified version of the appendix to the temporary overtime contract, to be used by the contracting parties after agreeing on the future mechanism in the contractual relationship between them, which the Ministry restricted to three options: (paid leave, early leave without salary, temporary cut of wages).

In detail, the ministry confirmed that the initiative launched by the state, in the name of "early leave", came in response to a large number of requests received from expatriate workers and employees, who are still at the head of their work in private sector institutions and companies, and wish to return to their countries during the period of precautionary measures that The state is taking it now.

The Ministry announced the "early leave" initiative, in cooperation and coordination with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Civil Aviation Authority and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management, with the aim of enabling those residing in the private sector to return to their countries during the period of precautionary measures.

The Ministry has defined the procedures that will be followed to enable expatriate workers to leave the country and return to their country, after obtaining "early leave", according to the humanitarian initiative that comes in implementation of Resolution No. (279) regarding the stability of employment in private sector enterprises during the period of applying precautionary measures, and as an extension of programs Humanitarian support by the government.

The Ministry stressed, on its official page on the social networking site «Twitter», the necessity of the commitment of all establishments that are compatible with the foreign worker who is at work, to leave the country, to follow six procedures, starting with determining the leave period, by signing an additional supplementary form of the employment contract, which will be used By during the application of precautionary measures due to the new Corona virus, explaining that this contract is available on the smart application and the Ministry's website.

According to the Ministry, the second procedure includes ensuring the continuity of the contractual relationship between the employer and the worker, and then considering the early leave as unpaid leave, with the worker retaining the remaining entitlements established in accordance with the Labor Relations Law, as well as reserving a travel ticket for the worker (back and forth) and delivering it to him Well in advance of his travel.

The procedures also included that the early leave ends with the return of the worker and his commencement of work after the end of the precautionary procedures, and that the residencies of the workers returning to their countries are extended automatically in the event of the end of their residency while they are outside the state, pointing out that the worker can communicate from outside the state with the national call center by e-mail .

The Ministry issued a consolidated version of the supplement to the temporary overtime contract, which made it available on its official electronic portal, for use by the contracting parties after agreeing on the future mechanism in the contractual relationship between them.
