The four-year-old female tiger named "Nadia" bred at the Bronx Zoo in New York City, USA, was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The keeper seems to have infected the animal, and three other tigers and three lions kept at the zoo also have cough symptoms and have no appetite. Other tigers, cheetahs, and snow leopards that the keeper was taking care of have no symptoms.
The new coronavirus has been confirmed to have infected dogs and cats, but according to the zoo, it is the first time that a tiger has been infected.
