Europe the hardest hit
Europe is the region hardest hit by the virus, with more than 44,000 people dying, which represents more than two thirds of the deaths from the virus worldwide.

Italy is still the country most affected by the virus in terms of deaths, with the largest number of deaths in the world (14,681), although the numbers reported 681 new deaths during the past 24 hours, which is less than its predecessor.

In the Arab world, Saturday witnessed more than a thousand new infections with the virus, mostly in the Gulf region, while the number of deaths in the region rose to more than 250.

On Saturday, the Algerian Ministry of Health reported 25 new deaths from the infection with the Coruna virus, bringing the total to 130.

The Algerian authorities decided to extend the partial curfew to limit the spread of the Corona virus, starting today, Sunday, with an increase in the number of confirmed cases of Corona virus.
