05 April 2020 A 4-year-old boy of Romanian nationality died this morning at the Caserta hospital after falling yesterday afternoon from a window on the fourth floor of the house in via Roma, in the center of the capital.

According to the State Police, who intervened on the scene of the accident, it would be a tragic fatality. The parents of the child are desperate and cannot find a reason for what happened.

According to what was found by the policemen of the Flying department and of the Mobile Squad of the Police Headquarters of Caserta, the child would have fallen after climbing on a table that was next to the window. The same table that he used every day to draw.

The dynamics of the accident now under investigation by the investigators suggests that the boy has risen on the table and has leaned too far out of the window, until he has lost his balance. The boy was rescued and taken to the hospital in Caserta where the doctors intubated him.

At first, although the general conditions were serious, it seemed that he could save himself. The boy had suffered a fracture in his arm, but radiographic tests also revealed numerous internal fractures, including one in the skull. During the night, the child's condition deteriorated. Death came this morning.
