The Catalan Government has announced today that a technical committee of the Generalitat has endorsed the lifting of the "specific confinement" of the towns of Igualada, Vilanova del Camí, Santa Margarida de Montbui and Òdena (Barcelona) due to the coronavirus, decreed by the Autonomous Executive last March 12.

For this reason, the Government has transferred the request for the end of the confinement of the Conca d'Òdena to the Ministry of Health to make it effective, as announced by the Health and Interior counselors of the Generalitat, Alba Vergés and Miquel Buch. The mobility restrictions affect from March 13 the 70,000 inhabitants of those four municipalities.
