This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the airline.

It is noted that this step is associated with a decrease in demand amid a general restriction of air traffic. Of the five Far Eastern destinations, the company will retain only flights to Magadan.

“In accordance with the decision of the regional authorities to temporarily limit air traffic and (due to) the general drop in demand for air transportation between April 3 and May 1, Rossiya Airlines suspends flights,” the statement said.

It is clarified that the restriction will affect flights from Moscow to Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Earlier, Aeroflot spokeswoman Yulia Spivakova commented on the situation with refunds for canceled flights.
