Sudanese man who had asked for asylum in France stabs two people to death

A man has stabbed to death two people and wounded five others in a shop and on the street in Romans-sur Isere (Drome). According to witnesses, the attacker shouted "Allah akbar", before being detained by the police. According to the station France Bleu, it was a Sudanese man in his thirties who had asked for political asylum .

The events would have started inside a butcher shop in the center of that town. The assailant tried to get hold of the money in the box and then took a knife . Right there he left the two fatalities, a butcher and a client.

Then on the street, he panicked. Among the five injured is one whose life is in danger.
