Kungsbacka

In Kungsbacka, the plan is for the Easter holiday activities to get rid of.

- Then you do not know if something happens. Then of course we have to change, says Heidi Fondell, communicator of culture and leisure in the municipality of Kungsbacka.

She says that they follow the guidelines that exist and have also drawn up their own guidelines. Since then, some of the Easter holiday activities have been moved outdoors.

- Naturum at Fjärås Bräcka would have had some toys and such indoors, but now they choose to have it outdoors instead. It's an example of how we work, ”says Heidi Fondell.

Varberg

In Varberg, they will limit the number of visitors to the Easter holiday activities, and carry out as many of the activities as possible outdoors.

- For example, we have someone who is facing a pedestrian challenge and then we have an overnight stay in wind protection so that you can be outdoors and keep a distance, says Anna Frid, communicator for cultural and leisure management in Varberg.

They are also working to see if it is possible to perform certain activities digitally.

- And it's not just the Easter holidays, but we are working on reorganizing the entire business, so that, for example, seniors can take part in events as well, says Anna Frid.

Falkenberg

Falkenberg will open the youth centers UngFbg (for high school) and at the Coop-house (for 16-20 years). There you can hang out with friends, play games, bake and play.

The leisure leaders will also arrange an outdoor day with activities such as fireballs. The municipality also arranges a fishing excursion to a nearby lake and a hike where you compete in teams.

How do you think about the risk of infection spreading?

"We follow the recommendations of the Public Health Authority and if you are not healthy you cannot participate in our activities," says Klara Berg, development manager at UngFbg.

She also emphasizes the importance of activities for young people to attend.

- It is very important not to be isolated. It is also worrying if you do not know what the young people do otherwise. Leisure activities have an important social function in spite of everything that is happening now in society, says Klara Berg.

Hylte

Also in Hylte municipality, the leisure farm is kept open, both the farm from grade 7 and the ambulatory mobile leisure farm which is for children from year 4.

This week, special activities such as lazerdome and game night are promised.

- It is important to keep the business going for the young people. The recreation center is a free zone where they can get a break from everyday life, says Sofie Wisell, acting recreation and public health officer.

She emphasizes that you follow the recommendations of the Public Health Authority and also arrange outdoor activities to reduce the risk of infection. The swimming hall, on the other hand, is closed because the municipality considers that they cannot prevent the spread of infection in the changing rooms.

Halmstad

Halmstad Municipality will also run with the planned Easter holiday activities.

- We know that many children and young people appreciate the activities of law, and then many parents do not have the opportunity to take time off and be with the children, Pernilla Söderkvist, communicator, cultural administration and leisure management.

The municipality adds that it follows the recommendations of the Public Health Authority and therefore has several activities outdoors, limits the number of participants and provides information on hygiene routines.

- It is important with public health and to become active. But if the Public Health Authority comes up with new guidelines, we will of course adapt, says Pernilla Söderkvist.

Laholm

In Laholm there will be Easter holiday activities every day during the week. But the municipality has canceled two activities as a result of the corona pandemic - Laserdome and a fishing trip to Råå.

- Now it will be a fishing trip in Lagan instead, so you do not have to go by bus and everything like that, says Sofia Larsson, youth consultant at Laholm municipality.

There is also a pre-registration on some of the activities to limit the number of visitors.

- That's probably what has changed in these corona times, says Sofia Larsson.
