All commuter and regional trains between Stockholm and Uppsala are canceled during Friday morning.

- The reason is a widespread electrical error on the route, closer to Märsta, says Beisi Sundin, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.

SJ refers all its travelers to shuttle buses that run the Uppsala C-Knivsta-Märsta route. From Märsta, travelers are encouraged to switch to SL's commuter train which operates on the Märsta-Stockholm C.

On the Arlanda-Uppsala route, SL buses replace departure from Sky City.

The cause of the electrical fault, which occurred already at. 18:30 on Thursday evening, has not yet been confirmed but is suspected to be due to the strong gale force winds that pulled in over the country.

Train traffic is expected to be up and running as usual sometime during Friday afternoon, as it is hoped that the repairmen who are on site have resolved the fault.

However, the far-off trains from Uppsala go as usual since you could open a track last night at. 04:00, but some trains are diverted and there may be delays.
