In Wuhan, China, 4 new dead and fear of a renewed epidemic

After more than two months of general confinement, the quarantine in Wuhan city is expected to be lifted on Tuesday April 7. If the situation seems to be under control, the authorities remain cautious and are wary of a renewed epidemic while the cradle of the epidemic counted 4 new deaths Thursday.

It is soon the end of the tunnel for more than 11 million inhabitants a few days before the lifting of restrictions in the city of Wuhan, where the virus spread in December . As the number of contaminations stabilizes, the country is now seeking to revive its economy, completely stopping during the first half, but the authorities are also trying to definitively curb the epidemic on its territory.

The secretary of the Communist Party in Wuhan went in this direction, stressing that the risks of a revival of the epidemic remained high before enjoining the inhabitants to limit their trips outside. For the past week, part of the public transport has been operational again and some healthy people are again allowed to go out on the streets.

In the rest of the country, life is also struggling to resume its normal course, and Beijing asked foreign diplomats to stay away from China, alleging cases of contamination in foreign embassies. For a week, the communist regime has closed its borders to foreigners , to fight against imported cases.

However, according to the Chinese authorities, 90% of them are the fact of Chinese nationals seeking to join their mother country.
