In October last year, 36-year-old bus driver Samir Tahir was attacked by a group of young people during his work pass on the 4th city bus in Uppsala.

This after he reached the youngsters who boarded through the back doors, and asked them to show their tickets. When several of the youths got off the bus, one person turned to Samir and attacked him with, among other things, kicking his head. He ended up with two cracks in the rib and one wound under the eye.

- Everything went so fast. I barely had time to think but just tried to defend myself, Samir Tahir has previously told SVT News Uppsala.

A surveillance film has helped the police in the investigation.

Now a 16-year-old boy, a resident of Södermanland, is being charged with gross violence against an official. The boy admitted that he was aboard the bus with him denying the crime.
