The Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the Ministry of Interior announced the approval of the continuity of the national sterilization program, in order to ensure the continuation of the sterilization process, and the addition of new facilities and facilities for the sterilization plan in the various emirates of the country, and in line with the precautionary procedures followed in the country to prevent the emerging corona virus / Covid - 19 Provided that the program is subject to periodic evaluation, and the decision also comes in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the adopted international practices.

The decision comes in the wake of the success of the first stages of the program since its launch on Thursday evening, March 26, and sterilization of many regions and facilities in various emirates of the country through the latest means and technologies, with the support and cooperation of various parties and the participation of hundreds of workers, supervisors and administrators from various federal and local government agencies.

The local authorities in each emirate will develop sterilization plans and implement them in a manner commensurate with the needs of the facilities and installations in them, where the national sterilization program is scheduled to continue from eight in the evening until six in the morning the following day, on a daily basis, provided that the movement of the public and the public will continue naturally in Daytime, with daily restricted movement in the evening from eight in the evening until six in the morning the following day.

The two ministries stressed the importance of continued cooperation of the public with the program to facilitate the work of teams at various levels, and to continue to adhere to the hours prescribed for sterilization, and not to go out except to purchase food and drug needs or for health necessity or work from vital sector categories that include the energy sector, the communications sector, the health sector, the education sector, and the sector Security, police, military, postal, freight, pharmaceutical, water and food sectors, civil aviation, airports, identity and nationality, financial and banking, government media, and services Which includes gas stations and construction projects, and through verification of the work or identity cards.
