After reading the reports about the coronas center's spread on the elderly, Angelica heard from SVT. She wanted to tell how it worked around the care of her stepfather, whom she considered her dad for 35 years. He lived in a retirement home in Stockholm since last summer.

"I've talked to him and he says he feels he is dying," she said.

Later that night he passed away.

- It went very fast. He got a fever yesterday. We talked to each other earlier today. We talked on the phone every day. On Monday, he was giggling, phoning and wanting to know how things went in Dagens dubbel and that we would buy Coca-cola.

Not properly prepared

Angelica does not think it seems that the accommodation has been properly prepared for the event, and she has received information that several residents have been infected.

On Wednesday, the municipality said that there were infections in 29 of 88 homes around Stockholm. Stockholm City says there are procedures in place that will cope with the situation, but at the same time, the company Familjeläkarna told on Thursday how they have taken care of over 200 infected, of which 50 have died.

When Angelica was allowed to visit her dad on Thursday, staff had stated that they had arranged him nicely. But when they opened the door, she realized that they had not.

- He was lying just like when he died, on his back but a little on the side with his mouth open.

A good accommodation

She is careful to point out that her father was good at the accommodation and that the staff did what they could with the conditions provided.

- Last Sunday he had a good lasagna, then he was happy. He had a really nice room and it was close to us, says Angelica.

She now wants more people to understand what to expect.

- This situation will be repeated in many others. We have to be prepared for it, and maybe try to make it better.

- It feels sad and almost inhumane that he has had to die alone, having lived with his mother for 35 years.

Angelica's dad turned 84.
