The head of state also accepted the resignation of Igor Orlov from the post of head of the region.
“To appoint Tsybulsky Aleksandr Vitalyevich to be the interim Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region until he assumes office as a person elected Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region, accepting his resignation from the post of Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug at his own request,” the document says.
On April 2, Orlov announced that he had written a letter of resignation. On the same day, the head of Komi Sergey Gaplikov decided to resign.
