- On some lines the tap is under half and on some other trips far below it too. So we have a big loss in travel right now, ”he tells SVT News East.

He also explains that it practically means that there is more space on the buses, which is good from the point of view of the spread of infection.

- But then it also means a big financial deficit for us, which we must compensate in some way in the future, says Mattias Näsström.

Have you done anything to reduce the spread of infection?

- On some buses there are barriers for the drivers, then there are the general recommendations that you should spread out in the bus, but I think it works quite well, says Mattias Näsström.

Are you trying to limit the number of passengers?

- Not so far, it's hard. We are looking at whether we can have any concrete directives that we can issue to both the drivers and the customers, on how to handle the situation. Then, as a customer, you also have to review how you travel. There are directives to avoid public transport during rush hour, says Mattias Näsström.
