Jean Rotner, president of France's Grand East, which has been severely affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, has announced that the gags that France requested to buy from China are being purchased by the Americans at the runways of Chinese airports before the planes take off for delivery.

"The Americans are paying in cash three or four times the price of the masks and protective masks that we have requested, and therefore we must fight vigorously," Rothner told RTL radio, explaining that the planes would later go to the United States, not France.

He added that "things are complicated, we seek non-stop" to receive the shipments of masks, explaining that he created a cell in his region "dedicated to winning these markets."

On Tuesday, the head of the Baka region (southeast), Reno Mosulier, had complained of similar practices by American buyers.

On Tuesday night, Grand East received two million surgical masks from China.

"I was very pleased to see this plane land on our runway yesterday evening," Rothenbere said.

The Grand East region is the first to receive the shipment of masks recommended by it automating domestic shipments.

On Tuesday, Emmanuel Macron, who criticized the lack of masks in France, promised that "France will become completely dependent on itself for its insurance" by the end of the year during a visit to a factory to produce it.

The United States, which has been late in taking measures to stem the outbreak of the new Corona virus, is also seeking to obtain masks.
