All parties in the region have now signed a joint agreement on the occasion of the social spread of covid-19. The parties have agreed to set aside other party political divides so that all attention can be paid to the corona crisis in Blekinge.
"For us, it is crucial that we as political representatives of the political parties we represent in the Blekinge Region stand united to deal with this serious situation," writes the group leaders for all parties in a joint press release.
At the same time, politicians have agreed to reduce the upcoming regional council from 57 to 29 members.
