London Mayor Siddique Khan called on the two football clubs in the British capital "Chelsea and Arsenal" to support the battle against the outbreak of the new Corona epidemic (Coved 19), by providing their employees and facilities as volunteers in the effort to fight Corona.

Although the health services in Britain are working to fight the virus, the resources seem insufficient, and the hospitals have reached their maximum capacity and can no longer absorb more.

"He was hungry to take advantage of the medical staff of these clubs, in addition to their training facilities to use them as field hospitals to boost the capacities of the British health services," Khan wrote in a statement to the two clubs asking for help.

In his message, Khan said: "I think British clubs provide help, but I think London clubs can still do more, and there is no help that can be considered small."

He continued: "While we work together to tackle the outbreak of the Corona virus, London clubs demonstrated the spirit of community participation in their response to Corona. This week, the Capital Clubs wrote what they could do to help the wonderful health services in our country. I feel very grateful for the wonderful positive response that I received from them."

Tottenham was not mentioned in the letter because he was involved in work to support health care workers.

Football clubs and community members have started to help in the battle against the Coruna epidemic from the start. Chelsea club owner Roman Abramovich presented his hotel in "Stamford Bridge" for use by health services staff and to help them reduce their use of transportation during their commute in London, while Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, two of Chelsea FC, presented their hotel in Manchester to support the battle Against corona.

Meanwhile, other clubs began distributing match tickets free of charge to health services staff to use when matches resume, and other clubs made donations to local food banks, which previously relied on match days for donations.
