The boy who was stabbed in the neck in a parking lot outside a school in Kortedala has now died from his injuries. The suspected perpetrator is an even boy. Prosecutor Mats Ihlbom now confirms that the boy's life has not been saved.
Crime classification has now changed from attempted murder to murder.
"We cannot say more than that we are running the murder investigation at full speed and with full force," says Mats Ihlbom, chamber prosecutor.
The suspect boy was arrested in his home on the same day as the knife attack and is now suspected of murder, but police are outraged because the suspect is a minor.
