“As expected, all new cases have been reported in the focus of the Ezhvinsky hospital. All patients undergo treatment, ”said Komi Minister of Health Dmitry Berezin.
According to him, measures were taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the focus is localized.
“Today (April 1), in the republic, a total of 54 cases of new coronavirus infection have been confirmed,” the Komi government website said in a statement.
As emphasized, one of them is imported, another 53 cases were detected in the city hospital of the Ezhvinsky district, which operates in strict quarantine mode.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Health said that the readiness of the healthcare system for the spread of the virus is rated as satisfactory.
According to data as of April 1, in Russia 2777 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded, 190 people recovered, 24 died.
