Since a couple of weeks ago, the education is conducted at a distance for the municipal high school students, which means that lunch is not served at the school. Through a collaboration between SBKF, Sölvesborg and Bromölla municipality, all high school students in Sölvesborg and Bromölla are offered a take-away lunch from the 30 or so pubs who chose to participate.

- It is fun to be able to offer our high school students a nutritious lunch that will certainly help during distance education while supporting the local restaurants, which risk losing large revenues in the tracks of the corona virus, says Louise Erixon, chair of the municipal council in Sölvesborg municipality via a press release.

Each student receives a personal QR code sent to their private mobile phone which can then be scanned in the restaurant when the student retrieves their lunch box. On each municipality's website there is a list of all restaurants that have joined the service. The service will be valid as long as the teaching takes place at a distance, and as far as school closures on June 12, according to the municipalities.
