A 66-year-old woman committed suicide on Wednesday afternoon after allegedly stabbing to death her 68-year-old husband at the home where the couple lived on the street of Castellón de la Plana de Getafe (Madrid). The alleged murderer had thrown himself into the void from a third floor after assaulting his partner.
The events have occurred around 3:45 p.m. A patrol car has found a woman's body on the street. According to the first impressions of the agents, he had thrown himself minutes before from one of the windows of the home where he lived. When agents have entered the victim's apartment, her husband has been found with three stab wounds to the abdomen and chest. The man has been transferred by the Summa to the 12 de Octubre hospital where he has died as a result of the stab wounds suffered.
The agents of Group V of Homicides of the Madrid Judicial Police Brigade and the Scientific Police officers have taken over the investigations and as the main hypothesis it is suspected that the woman threw herself from the window after assaulting her husband.
At the moment it is unknown if there were complaints of mistreatment between the couple , both of Spanish nationality. It is also unknown if there was any kind of problem between the couple.
