It is this proportional election ballot that I am holding now that demonstrates this kind of tricky politics that is retreating from democracy. As there are 35 political parties that have decided to obtain proportional representation seats, the paper length is as much as 48.1 cm. It is the purpose of the linked proportional representation system to open the way for small parties to enter the National Assembly. That's why there were so many small parties, but the huge ballot that trampled on the changed electoral system resulted in this long ballot without symbols 1 and 2.

It is the longest record ever since the introduction of this proportional ballot, '1 person, 2 votes'.

Even though the space between the party and the party has been reduced even more, it cannot be placed in the ballot sorter and must be counted.

How will the voters respond to this ballot?

[Kim Hee-ram / Nabalsan-dong, Seoul: Gil… . long. It's too long.]

[Kim Aram / Gyeonggi Seongnam: I think it's too embarrassing.]

[Lee Chang-je / Incheon Seo: I can't do this because I don't know? Are you only taking one here?]

This unprecedented ballot was born because of the scrupulous actions of each political party to increase the number of seats by using the interlocked proportional representation system.

A huge bipartisan led the way.

The Democratic Party and the United Party did not give proportional candidates, but instead created a satellite party, and they did not hesitate to change their seats to increase their turnout.

Small political parties also rallied, so there were 21 political parties in the 20th general election, but 14 increased.

Particularly, in the case of political parties without seats in the park, the symbols are assigned in alphabetical order, and there are only 3 political parties that were named 15 times in front of the party name.

This is a linkage-type proportional representation system that was introduced by considering the minority party as a multi-party system so that various opinions of the people can be reflected in the agenda.

However, the accurate reflection of public sentiment could not be expected, and the voters accepted the 48.1cm test paper at the polling station.
