US President Donald Trump has vowed to defeat the emerging Corona virus, while his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has boasted of his country's health capabilities in the face of the deadly epidemic compared to other countries.

In his daily press conference on Corona, Trump stressed that the economy is second to him, and that he wants first to save lives, and that "the economy will recover quickly."

He explained that more than a million people have so far been tested for infection of the emerging coronavirus in the United States.

And the US President indicated that his country "has made a historic achievement today in the war against the Corona virus, and more than a million Americans have been tested, more than any other country so far."

The Trump administration has been criticized for the slow availability of tests, and state governors still complain of a lack of ability to do these tests.

In the same context, the US President said that "China sent us some materials and Russia sent us a plane loaded with medical equipment."

For his part, the Turkish President praised his country's ability in terms of "health workers, the level of medicines and medical equipment, and the intensive care beds." Turkey is in a good position compared to other countries.

The Turkish President said that his government had implemented all health measures to combat Corona, which was recommended by the Scientific Council on HIV and the Ministry of Health.

It is noteworthy that Erdogan launched a fundraising campaign Monday to address the repercussions of the outbreak of the new Corona virus, announcing that he will donate his salary for seven months.

For its part, the National Health Commission of China announced today, Tuesday, 48 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and one death during the past twenty-four hours.
