“The use by the United States of America of economic and medical terrorism against Iran has taken various forms,” the Iranian minister wrote in an article for the newspaper Kommersant.
The minister noted that US sanctions are hitting the Iranian economy and thus hindering assistance to the population affected by the coronavirus.
“Anti-Iranian sanctions also prohibit the purchase of drugs and equipment by the Iranian government,” he added.
Earlier, Russia called on the United States to lift sanctions against Iran that impede the Islamic Republic in combating the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
