In Jämtland County, 279 people were notified of termination in March. This is a large increase compared to the previous month, when eight people were notified of dismissal. In March last year, 24 people were notified.
So far in March, a total of 36,800 people in Sweden have been notified of dismissal. It is a historical figure.
- We have never seen such high alert figures in a month. In the past week, the number of people affected by notice has doubled. We are now also seeing a spread to transport and trade, ”says Annika Sundén, head of analysis at the Employment Service, in a press release.
