At a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, 259 parliamentarians supported the law.

Now the document must be signed by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

The law provides for permission to sell agricultural land to Ukrainian citizens and legal entities, as well as to some foreigners or companies renting them for at least three years.

In early March, it was reported that the Rada was left to consider 720 amendments to the bill on land.
