Since March 13, train traffic between Copenhagen and Malmö has been limited to one train per hour. The reason is that Denmark has partially closed the border with Sweden, and that the Danish police have considered that train traffic had to be reduced to allow them to carry out their border checks.

Two trains per hour

- From today on, two trains per hour will cross the strait in rush hour traffic, says Theresia Swanholm, Skånetrafiken's press service.

The reason is that the Danish police have decided to allow more trains in rush hour traffic.

The same rules still apply as before, that is, one must have a special reason for entering Denmark. Border checks will continue to take place at Kastrup where travelers are forced to get off the train before they can travel further.
