The other day, new restrictions came from the government prohibiting gatherings with more than 50 people. Several mountain resorts have closed down their après ski since before. However, it is still allowed to travel there and stay on the slopes and in the area. Even though the message from the government and, among other things, the Public Health Authority has been that one should really think about whether to go there.

During Friday, SVT Dalarna told about a name collection that has been started in the hope that the mountains will shut down completely.

Hans Unander (S), municipal councilor in Malung-Sälen, understands that there is a concern.

- There is frustration and fear in this situation. What I think is tough is if people oppose each other, that it will be a hot mood, he says, referring to the municipal council in Sotenäs, which has gone out and said that you should not come there at all.

But what do you think - is it appropriate to go to the mountains?

- My personal opinion is that you should follow the guidelines of the Public Health Authority and I think you should think deeply about whether you should really go. It's boring, but this year you should probably stay home.

Is it possible to close the mountains?

- It is not the responsibility of the municipality, it is the authorities. But if the companies do not follow the government's guidelines, there may be a risk of them being shut down. It is the same for individuals if you have more than 50 people at an event so the police have the right to shut down.
