According to SOS Alarm, rescue services, ambulance and mountain rescue have been alerted to the location, Kycklingvattnet, north of Gäddede in the municipality of Strömsund.
According to the alarm, a scooter has been seen driving on the ice, then the light has disappeared. A dog is said to be heard out on the ice barking. Rescue work is ongoing at 21.35 hours, SOS Alarm reports.
