EU approves start of membership negotiations for Albania and Northern Macedonia

“We approve the conclusions of the EU Council of March 25, 2020 regarding the process of expansion, stabilization and association,” TASS quoted the final statement of the EU summit.

It is clarified that the EU summit was held in the form of a videoconference.

Earlier, the president of Northern Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovsky, signed the final document on the country's entry into NATO.
