The parent, who wants to be anonymous, tells SVT Uppsala that the time was around ten in seven when it rang at Skogsvallens IP.

- We practiced there when we heard a bang. It was rumored in the sky so the kids jumped up on the hill and saw a burning car. Then narrow it down again.

The group's trainer alerted police and emergency services, who then found three dead bodies in the burning car. A large area around the sports field was blocked off, and the police have launched a preliminary investigation into suspected murder.

"Thought it was a hush"

- I thought it was a hush, that kids lit fire on something. Then you hear that there were three bodies in the car. It will be a little shocking.

How have the children and young people taken this?

- No one thought it was murder - if it is - but I would think they are shocked too. There are about ten young people who stood watching when it burned. They have had the first parquet.

The parent states that it was pure luck that the group was not on the other side of the hill, closer to the car, and is relieved that none of them were injured.

- Had they been on the other side of the hill they would have been very close. It's no fun that something like this happens near a sports facility.
