In addition, the G20 leaders promised to strengthen the protection of the vulnerable and expand vaccine development support, saying, "We will endeavor to strengthen our national, regional and international capabilities to respond to the outbreak of potential infectious diseases."

The G20 leaders said, "We promise to take all necessary measures and use all available policy measures to minimize economic and social damage from global pandemics, restore global growth, maintain market stability and strengthen resilience. "The contents were also included in the joint statement.

Furthermore, the leaders expressed support for Japan's decision to postpone the Tokyo Olympics one year.

The G20 leaders agreed to convene the summit again if necessary, recognizing that further steps could be taken in the future to continue international cooperation to respond to Corona19.
