In the municipality of Älvkarleby, two confirmed deaths have occurred after a coronas infection in an elderly home. They were cared for in the home of the elderly until the end, and protective equipment went on.
Protective equipment for personnel is important so that they are not themselves infected and also to reduce the risk of the infection spreading to more elderly people and staff.
In an e-mail to the county administrative board from the municipality last week, it was written: "Protective materials have a hard time where right now, Care in Älvkarleby is in great need of materials."

"Something is better than nothing," concludes the email from Älvkarleby.
