“I order the heads of organizations under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia implementing higher education programs and related additional educational programs to ensure that students are provided with vacations from March 28, 2020 to April 5, 2020,” TASS quoted the text of the document.
It is noted that for subordinate higher education institutions this measure is advisory in nature.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Science recommended that universities in Russia switch to distance learning for students due to the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
